FIRST PAST THE POST

I have decided to start a blog that is to completely to do with playground politics. Since writing my novel THE PLAYGROUND MAFIA I have received hundreds of emails giving anecdotes and advice and although I respond I felt it would be useful and constructive to have a dedicated blog on the subject. It seems to have intensified over the years perhaps as a result of increased competition for school places, or the increasing importance of education, or indeed more bullies amongst parents in the playground who get vindictive if you don't play by their rules and live by their values. For whatever the reason, I feel the blog could be of use to others who feel vulnerable. I want them to know they are not alone. And those who are mafia for whatever reason, we want to add some transparency to your lives.
